B.Eng. (Hons.) from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK (UMIST)


She is a Fellow of the Energy Institute, UK, Chartered Energy and Petroleum Engineer and currently holds an Honorary Secretary position at the branch level. Internationally, she is very active as she co-supervised a UWA PhD student, appointed as Postgraduate Representative for the Safety Committee of School of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, UWA ( ), Subject Theme Coordinator for the CHEMECA Conference in Perth, Australia (2014) and she also chaired a parallel session at the same conference. She filed a patent product at the end of year 2015, received invention awards during the UiTM International Invention, Innovation and Design Competition (1 Gold Medal-2015, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals-2014 and 1 Bronze Medal-2013), UiTM Excellence Service Award (2014) and UiTM High Impact Journal Publication Award (2011). She was recognised for her continuous contributions to high impact international peer-reviewed journals when she was appointed as a Technical Reviewer for Energy and Fuels Journal (American Chemical Society, H index 123), Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects Journal (Elsevier, H index 120) and Journal of Industrial Technology (SIRIM Berhad, Malaysia).
